Disk Full

The issue​

Backup Exec drive is full

Retention has failed to delete the expired backups.

The Solution​

  1. Goto Backup Exec
  2. Storage > Double click on Drive that’s full > Backup Sets
  3. Sort by Expired
  4. Before deleting also inform site manager
  5. Highlight all expired and right click > Expire
    1. This will free up space on the drive.
